As part of TEGRA IC’s exploration of the Netherlands’ vibrant semiconductor ecosystem, we had the privilege of visiting NXP Semiconductors and meeting with Sjakko Sandee, Cluster Manager at NXP, during our tour at High Tech Campus Eindhoven (HTC).
NXP, a global leader in secure connectivity solutions for embedded applications, plays a pivotal role in advancing technologies in automotive, industrial, and IoT markets, with innovative solutions in secure microcontrollers, analog/RF, and edge processing. As a pioneer in automotive technologies, NXP plays a critical role in enabling the future of autonomous driving, connected cars, and electrification. Headquartered in the Netherlands, NXP’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and security empowers its customers to create smarter, safer, and more efficient solutions worldwide.
Our discussion with Mr. Sandee was both insightful and inspiring. He shared invaluable insights into NXP’s AMS Competence Center, comprising 300 experts focused mainly on Analog IC design and verification for critical applications like automotive, radar systems operating under extreme conditions. Despite NXP’s giant design team, we were encouraged by his guidance and support, which helped us articulate TegraIC’s competencies as an IC Design House and highlight areas where we could contribute.
Mr. Sandee enriched our meeting by bringing a sample to facilitate the discussion. This hands-on approach not only deepened our understanding but also elevated the quality of the conversation, allowing us to better grasp the opportunities for collaboration.
A heartfelt thank to Mr. Sandee for his time, thoughtful recommendations, and engaging discussions. We look forward to exploring ways to contribute to the exciting advancements NXP is driving globally.
We are excited about exploring ways to contribute NXP’s groundbreaking efforts and being part of the innovation that shapes the future of the semiconductor industry.
